APOGEE Laser Hair Removal

In as little as four treatments, this laser removes unwanted hair from any area of the body. The laser emits a gentle beam of energy that passes through the skin to the hair follicle. The energy is then transformed into heat, which damages the hair follicle. Are laser treatments painful?
Most patients describe the treatment as a series of slight pricks to the skin. This is not a lasting sensation.

How many treatments are required?
Hair grows in cycles, or stages. These stages of hair growth are: The Growing stage, the Resting stage, and the Dying/falling out stage. These stages or cycles are also called Anagen, Catagen and Telagen. Hair is susceptible to damage only in the growing, or "Anagen" phase of hair growth. At any given time, only approximately 25% of our hair is in the Anagen phase. These hair growth cycles change every four to six weeks. For the most success, treatments are preformed every 4 to 6 weeks for a minimum of four treatments, regardless of the type of laser used.

How much does it cost?
Prices depend on the size of the area treated, and range from $90.00 - $190.00 per site per treatment, and discounted four-time treatment packages are available.
